In the X-option, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Cutting tools of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of cutting tools of this version, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 3 parts.

This component fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variations may be available.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
