Austropressen (Roither Maschinenbau Gesmbh)

Roither Maschinenbau GesmbH, based in Seewalchen, Austria, was founded in 1953 by Franz Roither Senior as a locksmith's shop. The product range included veneer, mechanic and fruit presses.

In 1973 the first baling press was produced under the brand name Austropressen and this was quickly followed by the development of practice-oriented press series and the establishment of a Europe-wide sales network. Thanks to the high quality 'made in Austria', Roither Maschinenbau GmbH was able to quickly gain a foothold in the international market. In 1999 this resulted in a doubling of the production area and an expansion of exports to over 40 countries worldwide.

Thanks to the reliability and high quality of its presses and other products, the company gained customers from a wide range of industries worldwide: Small businesses from trade and gastronomy, large recycling and waste disposal companies, international trade chains, as well as companies from the paper, cardboard, plastics and beverage can production.
