What is System Redoma?
In 1982 a German machine manufacturing company, later known as Reto Recyclingtechnik GmbH, started producing machines for the recovery of recyclable materials and the processing of old cables. Reto sold its cable recycling systems primarily in Germany and started using the trademark System Redoma.
Reto Recyclingtechnik (i.e. its predecessor) partnered with Swedish Retech Recycling Technology AB. Founded in 1984 Retech catered among others to the North American markets with their small to medium-sized cable recycling machines.
In early 2016, Retech Recycling Technology AB - now Redoma Recycling AB - entered the Denmark-based Eldan Group as a 100% subsidiary. Within the group Redoma remained a trademark and manufacturer of cable recycling plants.
Reto Recyclingtechnik GmbH has been liquidated in 2020. Their machines are now available as used equipment only.
That being said Reto's Redoma machines are known under a variety of names including Redoma, Reto Redoma, System Redoma and System Redoma Germany.
