THE PRODUCTS

Waste balers

MAC 108L/1

The MAC 108/1 is a waste baling press specifically designed for processing household waste, industrial waste and refuse derived fuel (RDF). It processes recyclable materials such as plastic, paper, aluminium, but also residual household waste with organic content and bulky waste.

The machine is the smallest version of the Macpress "L" series (MAC 108L/1, Mac 110L/1, Mac 111L/1, Mac 112), which has been specially designed for baling non-recyclable materials. Due to its specific devices, the L series has no problems whatsoever with bulky parts or with organic matter in the waste. Like all MAC balers, it is characterised by an optimal balance between baling force and baling speed. Transfer stations and landfills are typical applications for the MAC 108 L/1.

The horizontal twister is designed for plastic and iron wires, and a series of devices also protect the system from corrosion when processing organic content in the waste. It can work with 5 and 4 wires. Macpresse waste compactors are also equipped with hydraulic sliding doors to protect the compactor.

MAC 110L/1
The MAC 110L/1 is a waste compactor with a production capacity of 40-45 t/h. It is specifically designed for waste processing. It has been specifically designed for the processing of household waste, industrial waste and refuse derived fuel (RDF).

Due to its specific devices, the L series has no problems whatsoever with bulky items or with organic matter in the waste. Like all MAC balers, it features an optimal balance between baling force and baling speed. The MAC 110L/1 is suitable for transfer stations, landfills and in general for all operations that process large quantities of different materials.

MAC 111L/1
The MAC 111L/1 is a waste compactor with a production capacity of 50-55 t/h. It is designed for processing household waste. It is designed to process household waste, industrial waste and refuse derived fuel (RDF). The perfect application areas for the MAC 111L/1 are transfer stations and landfills.

Due to its specific devices, the L series has no problems with bulky items or with organic matter in the waste. Like all MAC balers, it features an optimal balance between baling force and baling speed. With its double motor, the MAC 111 L is particularly powerful in terms of production speed.

It can work with 5 and 4 wires. Macpresse waste compactors are also equipped with hydraulic sliding doors to protect the compactor.

MAC 112
MAC 112 is a baler for large-particle waste, designed to process a wide range of materials, such as household waste, industrial waste, refuse derived fuel (RDF), recyclables, biomass, household residual waste, which includes organic parts, etc.

Typical applications for the MAC 112 are not only transfer stations and landfills, but also all plants where large quantities of material need to be processed in a short time without sacrificing quality and bale density.

Presses for recyclables

MAC 106/2
The MAC 106/2 is the latest model in the /2 series. It processes all types of materials coming from separate collection.

The MAC 106/2 baler is designed to process medium quantities of materials from separate collection: Plastic, PET, mixed paper, OCC and refuse derived fuels (RDF).

The result is a higher density of bales combined with a higher production without overloading the machine. The bale size achieved is ideal to optimise storage and transport with most common trucks, containers and railcars.

The electromechanical horizontal tying system is designed for tying plastic and steel wires. This system simplifies the cleaning process of the tying unit and provides increased safety for the operator. Maintenance and cleaning of the tying unit is done at floor level; replacement of the tying wire is done at floor level, no pit is required.

MAC 107/2
The MAC 107/2 handles all types of materials from separate collection.

The baler has been developed for those customers who do not require high production, but want to obtain a product quality equivalent to that of a machine with high output.

To meet this requirement, some features of the MAC 107/1 have been improved: the binding and the baling channel have been reinforced and the impression cylinder has been enlarged. In this way, compared to the /1, the density of the bales has been increased by 30 per cent for cardboard and 15 per cent for plastics, while the bale size remains small (110×75 cm).

The result is a higher density of bales combined with higher production without having to overload the machine.

The electromechanical horizontal tying system is designed for tying plastic and steel wires. This system simplifies the cleaning process of the tying unit and provides increased safety for the operator. Maintenance and cleaning of the tying unit is done at ground level; replacement of the tying wire is done at ground level, no pit is required.

MAC 108/2
The MAC 108/2 is the second model in the new generation of balers, which is particularly recommended for baling plastic materials such as HDPE and PET. It is the baler for those who have medium to high production requirements and at the same time need very dense bales to reach the weight limits allowed in a container.

To combine these two requirements, the company's designers have designed the new machine to achieve a specific pressure of up to more than 20 kg/cm2. The bale size is 110×75 cm to minimise empty space in cargo vehicles.

The machine can achieve densities of over 500 kg/m3 with non-perforated PET; by adding the smaller bale size optimised for transport efficiency (three rows vertically), there is the possibility of loading over 24 tonnes of PET onto a truck.

Thus, the bales produced with this baler have a very high density. This is a deal for the arrangement of the maximum weight that can be loaded into a truck and container.

This system simplifies the cleaning process of the tying unit and provides increased safety for the operator. Maintenance and cleaning of the tying unit is done at ground level; replacement of the tying wire is done at ground level, no pit is required.

MAC 110/2
The MAC 110/2 is a versatile baler: It can handle a wide variety of materials such as plastic, paper, biomass and refuse derived fuel (RDF). Compared to the previous models in the MAC product range, it is even more powerful: more efficient, more robust and easier to clean. It quickly processes large quantities of material while achieving higher bale density.

The horizontal twister is designed for plastic and iron wires: It facilitates the cleaning process of the twister and offers more safety to the operator. It can work with 4, 5 and 5+3 wires.

MAC 111/2
The new MAC111/2 is characterised in particular by the new design of the feed box, which enables an hourly output of up to 900 m³/h. The new cutter blade configurations, for both the mobile and fixed types, reduce the shocks caused by cutting the material in the most critical phase of the baling process.

The new size of the baling chamber with a more powerful setting for the hydraulic counterpressure circuit achieves
- a higher density for the processed materials and
- greater flexibility when baling mixed materials typical of the sorting plant (MRF).

Highly efficient electric motors combined with Rexroth hydraulic piston pumps provide high flow capacity with low power consumption. Electronic management of the baling phases provides total control of the baler in the working phases with an optimised interface for more precise remote diagnostics.

For baling bulky materials, the MAC 111/2 baler integrates the protection of the patented MACPRESSE trolley, which mechanically protects the needle slots while ensuring the integrity of the steel wire. The system, combined with the mobile twisting and cutting device, guarantees the cleaning of the wire binding area with an efficiency of almost 100 percent, similar to the binding phase.

The flexibility of the MACPRESSE tying unit also makes it possible to replace the steel wire with a monofilament plastic wire with minimal changes, even on a baler that is already in operation.

MAC 102
The MAC 102 automatic baler is designed to handle small to medium quantities of material. Separated waste collection, logistics centres, large companies are among the main users of the MAC 102. With its great flexibility, it presses all types of waste paper, plastic containers and many other products destined for recycling into bales.

The horizontal twister of the MAC 102 bundles the bales with 4 wires made of plastic or iron. It facilitates the cleaning process of the twister and guarantees more safety for the operator.

Waste sorting systems

Macpresse Europe's waste sorting systems are designed to optimise waste management in the following areas: Sorting and recovery of recyclables (paper, cardboard, plastics, aluminium, metals with and without iron), sorting of household waste, industrial waste.

Macpresse sorting plants enable the economic and efficient sorting of recyclables that would otherwise be destroyed in incinerators or landfills.

In this way, the space used in landfills is optimised and their service life is increased by over 30 percent.

All plants can be individually adapted to the specific needs of the customer using the modular principle, in order to guarantee a suitable response according to the plant. In this way, one can easily and quickly adapt to an increase in the amount of waste to be processed.
