The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be impacted by the material and the shape. This means that the performance can be well adapted to the application scenario.

In the X-version, this stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Components of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

We emphasise that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

The dimensions of the stator knife are 326mm long, 100mm wide and 22mm high.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 80°.

As the stator knife is part of our Eco Line, this component is a cost-efficient alternative to the Premium Line.
