The wear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the efficiency can be well adjusted to the application scenario.

In the X-option, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the tool life of the rotor knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.

General characteristics:

The rotor knife is 70mm long, 50mm wide and 15mm high.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 60°/45°.

Since the rotor knife is part of our Eco Line, the product offers a favourable version to the Premium Line.
