Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

In this version, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears evenly over its lifespan.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
