Flat knives
Flat knives, sometimes called long knives, are characterised by a straight cutting edge and their flat design. By means of different hardness and grinding technologies, various performance profiles can be realised, the performance of which varies in terms of service life, process reliability and product quality.
Fly knives
In a shredding machine, rotor knives do the main work of shredding the material to be ground. In the grinding chamber, the rotor knives mounted on a cutting rotor move against a fixed stator knife block. This is attached to the rear wall of the grinding chamber.
