Who is HAAS Recycling-Systems

HAAS Holzzerkleinerungs- und Fördertechnik GmbH, located in Dreisbach, was founded in 1989 by Volker Haas. In the early years, the company only produced individual components, and from 1992 onwards it also produced complete systems for waste wood recycling. Since the turn of the millennium, HAAS has also been developing and manufacturing machines for shredding and sorting waste.

Today, the company employs over 80 people who develop, manufacture and install internationally valued shredding and conveying technology for the recycling industry.

SHREDDER

TYRON mobile

The twin-shaft primary crusher offers an output of up to 770 HP and impresses with its powerful material intake. Due to the HAAS twin-shaft technology, the machine crushes even the most difficult materials quickly and effectively. The two shredding shafts are driven separately. This results in several advantages. The shaft speed, direction of rotation and reversing times can be adjusted to the requirements of the material to be shredded at any time. In addition, the winding of wires and long-fibre materials is prevented and maximum throughput is achieved!

According to HAAS, the HAAS TYRON scores points in comparison with a synchronous-running shredder due to its lower wear and lower downtimes. Other arguments in favour of the machine are its solid construction, high efficiency and long service life - the oldest TYRON still in operation has already clocked up more than 35,000 operating hours, according to the company!

The machine is easy to transport and can be used at different locations. The crawler track and the radio remote control enable convenient and fast positioning. The TYRON shreds a wide variety of materials with just one tool configuration. Its throughput capacity can be up to 100 tonnes per hour. The machine is self-cleaning and its quiet engine operation makes it pleasant to work with.

The supplier lists the following as areas of application for the HAAS TYRON:
MSW - municipal waste, waste wood, pallets, construction & demolition waste, (C&D) railway sleepers, residual waste, household waste, commercial waste, bulky waste, cable drums, paper rolls, green waste, mattresses, roots, aluminium, food waste, PVC profiles plastic window frames.

TYRON stationary

The twin-shaft primary crusher has an output of up to 2 x 160 kW. In stationary plants, this electric primary crusher is often used as the first machine in a recycling line. With its powerful material intake and proven HAAS twin-shaft technology, it crushes even difficult materials.

As with the mobile version, the shredding shafts of the stationary TYRON are also driven separately. The advantages: Shaft speed, direction of rotation and reversing times can be varied depending on the material. In addition, the TYRON prevents the winding of wires and long-fibre materials and thus achieves maximum throughput. Compared to a synchronously running shredder, the HAAS TYRON reduces wear and downtimes, according to the manufacturer. The solid machine construction allows for a very long service life and thus high economic efficiency. In addition, controlling the main motor via a soft starter instead of a star-delta combination leads to energy savings. The throughput of the machine is up to 100 tonnes per hour. In addition, the TYRON is easy to service and maintain.

The areas of application are: MSW - municipal waste, waste wood, construction & demolition waste, (C&D) pallets, railway sleepers, household waste, residual waste, commercial waste, bulky waste, cable drums, paper rolls, green waste, mattresses, roots, aluminium, food waste, PVC profiles, plastic window frames.

ARTHOS mobile

The mobile hammer mill has a crawler chassis and, according to the manufacturer, moves effortlessly even on the most difficult terrain. In the secondary shredder, the ballistic ejector specially developed by HAAS automatically separates out impurities in the input material. The system is in stationary use worldwide at numerous well-known power plants as well as in the chipboard industry and has proven itself. A major advantage: ARTHOS does not have to be stopped to remove foreign bodies. This minimises downtimes considerably and reduces costs.

The simple screen replacement is another advantage of the HAAS hammer mill. Because the machine can be opened hydraulically, users can quickly change the screen basket and thus vary the size of the final grain at short notice. But the beater and beater axles can also be replaced effortlessly. Special HAAS beater and counter-knife combinations minimise the fines content.

ARTHOS produces a homogeneous end product and exposes FE and NE parts such as nails and staples. The fuel consumption of the hammer mill is economical and economic. It also runs very quietly.

Combined with the TYRON primary crusher, ARTHOS thoroughly and quickly crushes material such as waste wood, green waste, substitute fuels and PVC waste to < 30-150 mm at any application site.

Areas of application: Waste wood, green waste, biomass, PVC profiles, plastic window frames, bulky waste, commercial waste.

ARTHOS stationary

The ARTHOS hammer mill shreds waste wood, green waste, substitute fuels and PVC waste quickly and thoroughly.

Special HAAS beater, counter-knife and screen basket systems are used according to the requirements of the respective feed material and the properties of the desired end product. Due to the individually matched counter-knife and screen basket systems, the undesirable fines content is reduced to a minimum.

Their special ballistic ejection protects ARTHOS from wear and machine breakage. And impurities such as iron and non-ferrous material no longer have to be removed manually at great expense of time, but are automatically separated in the input material. And the fact that ARTHOR does not have to be stopped for the removal of foreign bodies minimises downtimes and costs considerably!

Because the machine can be opened hydraulically, the user can quickly change the screen basket and thus vary the size of the final grain at short notice.

In combination with the TYRON primary crusher, ARTHOS thoroughly and quickly shreds waste wood, green waste, substitute fuels and PVC waste to < 30-150 mm.

The areas of application are: Waste wood (shredded), green waste (shredded), biomass (shredded), bark (shredded), plastics (shredded), bulky waste (shredded), commercial waste (shredded), PVC profiles (shredded).
