New product development of CutMetall-plus GmbH. Suitable for the Micromat and Antares shredder series from company Lindner Austria
06.10.2019

As an alternative to the known knives made of tool steel and full carbide, this new product has been developed by CutMetall-plus GmbH.

The advantage of the new blades is that the cutting edge is made of a highly wear-resistant carbide, the base body is flexible which acts as a shock absorber under beating stress.

Even in the event of an accident, the bodies cannot break, and thus the knife holder remains protected at all times. Unlike the standard knives, the new cutting edge shape is not flat, it´s arranged like a crown form to increase the Cutting performance as well to raise the aggressiveness of the cutting edge. The feed load of input materials is also increased.

Advantages at a glance:
  • Highest cutting strength
  • Highest break resistance
  • Lower power consumption compared to. normal knives
  • Less machine vibration
  • Consistent bulk densities of the output material over a longer period of time

For years, CutMetall-plus GmbH has been producing such knives in the field of mills, granulators as well as shredders.

The use of these knives requires a suitable input material, this can be clarified with our technicians at short notice.

The basic goal of CutMetall-plus products is to increase the current account of the existing shredding machines under consideration as well to guarantee a highest operational safety of the plants.
