In the X-variation, this scraper is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the scraper.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of cutting tools of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The spare part is ideal for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 49mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration variations can be realised.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the scrapers is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
