The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be impacted by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well configured to the application area.

Knifes in this W-option are 5% softer in comparison to the X-variation and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This product is fabricated out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it ideal for demanding areas of applications. However this variant has a shorter tool life.

Components of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

We emphasise that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

The measurements of the spare part are 195mm in length, 56mm in width and 28mm in height.

As part of our Eco Line, the knife offers a lower-priced alternative to the Premium Line.
