This counter knife is to be used in recycling machines of the Vecoplan VEZ model range from the producer Vecoplan.
Cutting performance and durability:
The shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable effect on the resistance and knife life.
By contrast, the W9-variation wears faster than the X-variant due to its lower hardness. Also the insensitivity to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-option is a remarkable feature compared to the X-version.
In this variant, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifetime.
It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.
The item is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variations can be realised.
When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
