The counter knife is to be used in shredders of the Vecoplan VAZ model series from the producer Vecoplan.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be impacted by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the input material.
The X-version of this cutting tool is made of tool steel. This variant has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-versions.
Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.
Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.
We highlight that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife will be sold as a set of 2 parts.
The spare part is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration variants can be realised.
When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The following measurements are available: 1280mm length, 153.5mm width, 25mm height.
