This X-variant cutter is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard variation in most applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Spare parts of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the products. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for fastening to M24 threads.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the cutters is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
