Compatibility with machines:

This stator knife can be used for shredders of the Alpine 28/60 Ro model series from Hosokawa Alpine AG.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The shape and the material used for constructing have a significant influence on the insensitivity and durability.

Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-variant, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-version. This means that a longer tool life can be secured. In comparison, however, the stator knife is more predisposed to impurities, which can lead to breakage more quickly.

Cutting tools of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

The measures of the product are 620mm in length, 90mm in width and 16mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 80°.
