In the X-variant, this stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
