The stator knife can be installed in the Herbold SML and Herbold SML 60/145 models from the manufacturer Herbold Meckesheim.

In the X-variation, this stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the stator knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

The measurements of the product are 750mm in length, 100mm in width and 22mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 75°.
