The product shown is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard option for most areas of application. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the stator knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
