Items of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When fitting the stator knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
