This stator knife has been designed for Herbold SMS series by manufacturer Herbold Meckesheim.

Through the use of particular materials and the variance in the cutting shape, the product can be adjusted to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and knife life.
The stator knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variation, which is the standard version in most applications.
Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.
Items of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.
We highlight that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
When fitting the stator knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The measurements of the stator knife are 589mm long, 100mm wide and 22mm high.
The inclination of the cutting edge is 75°.
