The X-variation of this spare part is made of tool steel. The cutting tool has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variants.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Products of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
