In the X-option, this stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When attaching the stator knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

 

General characteristics:

The measures of the component are 520mm in length, 77mm in width and 25mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 75°.
