Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of particular materials and varying the cutting geometry, the component can be customised to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and longevity.

This stator knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variant in most applications.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

We highlight that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When fitting the stator knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
