Detailed description
Stator knife SMZM0490-Y00 by CUTMETALL for shredding machines by Zerma (Amis).
Compatibility with machines:
For cutting millses and granulators by the company Zerma (Amis) the stator knife is perfectly applicable.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the application area.
In the Y-variation, this item is made of alloyed tool steel. The stator knife in this variant is approx. 5% harder than the X-version, which results in a longer service life. However, the texture is also more brittle. Due to that it can be more fragile if there is a high level of impurities.
In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.
It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this version, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
Fastening in the machine:
When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
General characteristics:
The spare part measures 490mm in length, 100mm in width and 28mm in height.
Its cutting edge is inclined at 90°.
All our Premium Line items are manufactured only in Germany.
