Compatibility with machines:
This stator knife is to be used with recycling machines of the Herbold SML series from the company Herbold Meckesheim.
Cutting performance and durability:
Through the use of various materials and varying the cutting shape, the spare part can be adjusted to the break down application in terms of throughput and service life.
The stator knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variation, which is the standard variant in most break down applications.
This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the tool life of the stator knife.
Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
When installing the stator knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
General characteristics:
The subsequent dimensions are available: 490mm length, 100mm width, 20mm height.
Its cutting edge is inclined at 75°.
