In the X-variation, this stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

In this version, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.
