The cutting tool shown is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variant for most application scenarios. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Items of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
