Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the stator knife.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the products. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
