This X-option stator knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard variant in most break down applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.
Here we offer you a perfect combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the service life of the stator knife.
We highlight that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
When installing the stator knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
