This deflector wedge is ideally applicable for cutting millses from Zerma (Amis).

The cutting geometry and the material used for constructing have a significant effect on the insensitivity and product lifespan.
In the X-variation, the stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.
This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.
Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.
Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
When attaching the stator knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

The deflector wedge is 392mm long, 100mm wide and 28mm high.
The inclination of the cutting edge is 90°.
