The component shown is made of tool steel in the X-variant, which is our standard variation for most areas of application. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the service life of the stator knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this version, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

When attaching the stator knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

This stator knife is 319mm long, 60mm wide and 16mm high.
