This spare part presented is made of tool steel in the X-variation, which is our standard version for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this stator knife is in the medium range.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will fundamentally weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the stator knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
