In the X-version, this stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the stator knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will seriously weaken the structure.
