Compatibility with machines:

For cutting millses and granulators by the producer Dreher Maschinenbau the stator knife is excellently suitable.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable effect on the insensitivity and lifespan.

Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-variant, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-option. This means that a longer knife life can be secured. In comparison, however, the stator knife is more susceptible to impurities, which can lead to fractures more quickly.

In this version, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the stator knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the stator knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 75°/45°.
