In the X-option, the stator knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the stator knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this version, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 75°.
