Cutting performance and durability:

The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable influence on the insensitivity and service life.

The W9-variation wears more rapidly than the X-variant, but also has increased toughness and is resistant to impurities. However, the hardness of the W9-version is lower than that of the X-option.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of cutting tools of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The product is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration variations can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
