The performance of the component depends predominantly on the variant of the material and cutting geometry.
The W9-version wears more quickly than the X-option, but also has increased toughness and is insensitive to impurities. However, the hardness of the W9-variation is lower than that of the X-variation.
Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.
To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will seriously weaken the structure.

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 43mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variations are possible.
When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
