The scraper has been constructed for Vecoplan VAZ machines by manufacturer Vecoplan.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be impacted by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the input.

This X-variation scraper is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard version in most break down applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Spare parts of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The scraper is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This item is ideal for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration options can be realised.

When fitting the scraper, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
