Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of various materials and varying the shape, the cutting tool can be matched to the break down application in terms of throughput and service life.

Comparatively, the W9-option is softer than the X-variation. Additionally, the W9-version wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the tool life of the scraper.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The scraper is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This scraper can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 37mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variants are possible.

It is imperative that the scraper is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
