Compatibility with machines:
The scraper can be inserted for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Vecoplan brand.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be impacted by the material and the shape. This means that the performance can be well configured to the input.
In the X-variant, the scraper is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.
Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.
Spare parts of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.
However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the cutting tools. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
Fastening in the machine:
The scraper is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.
This scraper can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration variations are possible.
When attaching the scraper, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

As this scraper belongs to the Premium Line, the cutting tool is produced exclusively in Germany.
