Cutting performance and durability:

The shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable influence on the insensitivity and product lifespan.

Comparatively, the W9-option is softer than the X-variation. In addition, the W9-version wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also insensitive to impurities.

Components of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will fundamentally weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The scraper is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

It is imperative that the scraper is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
