The scraper is suitable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Untha.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the service life can be impacted by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well customised to the application.

In comparison, the W9-option wears faster than the X-version due to its lower hardness. Also the insensitivity to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-variant is a noteworthy feature compared to the X-variation.

Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will acutely weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This scraper is sold as a whole set, consisting of 3 parts.

This scraper can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 37mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, other configuration variations are possible.

When attaching the scraper, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
