This rotor knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard version in most break down applications.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.
