In the X-option, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
