The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the efficiency can be well adapted to the input material.

Knives made in this Y-variant will extend the longevity of your cutting tool. Due to the hardness the susceptibility to impurities is higher, which makes it easier to break.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the rotor knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this option, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.
