For cutting millses by the manufacturer Reto Recycling the rotor knife is excellently applicable.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The efficiency of the item depends largely on the variation of the material and cutting geometry.

In the X-variant, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the rotor knife.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

When fitting the rotor knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The measurements of this cutting tool are 334mm in length, 79mm in width and 20mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 60°.
