Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the tool life of the rotor knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

When attaching the rotor knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
