This rotor knife can be used with the cutting mills of the Dreher Maschinenbau brand.

The wear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the efficiency can be well configured to the application.
The spare part presented is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard option for most application scenarios. The hardness of this rotor knife is in the medium range.
Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.
Components of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.
We highlight that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the rotor knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The rotor knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.
It is imperative that the rotor knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
