This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Items of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will acutely weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

When attaching the rotor knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
